Webinar: Digital manufacturing, on a shoestring budget

On-Demand Webinar

Is it possible for SME manufacturers to tap into the benefits of digitalisation without the costs and risks inherent in large-scale solutions?

‘Digital Manufacturing on a Shoestring’, an EPSRC-funded project, aims to understand and demonstrate how low-cost commercially available technologies for mobile computing, sensing and AI can be exploited in SMEs. It also looks at how to tackle the issues associated with integrating these technologies safely and securely into a small scale manufacturing environment.

Join us in this webinar as we:
• offer an introduction to the project
• highlight the results gathered from SMEs across the UK highlighting the digital challenges they are facing
• look at the latest low-cost demos from the project
• provide inspiration for how low-cost solutions could be applied in your organisation

*This is the 2nd webinar of our three-part webinar series in association with the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge. Please note that by registering for this webinar, you will receive an email with  a link to the on-demand version of the 1st part of the series and an invitation to join the 3rd webinar.
