Building Resilient Supply Chains

Virtual Round Table I Tuesday 10 November: 18:00 - 19:30 GMT

What does resiliency in manufacturing and supply chain mean? Most manufacturers have restarted their operations after the lockdown, with marginal improvements in their ability to respond to uncertainty and distress. In certain cases, customer demand has returned to pre-Covid levels, but the inherent risks are greater than before. Resiliency is not simply a resumption of operations - Resiliency like quality, should be, built into the daily processes and operations. In this way it becomes ‘the normal’.

We will also be hearing from special guest Nathan Earland, Global Senior Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager, Jaguar Land Rover Automotive PLC on his own experiences.

Core discussion points:

  • Moving towards an insight driven organisation (#Data, #AI/ML/DL)
  • Building Ecosystems and partnerships (#Cloud)
  • Migrating towards Agility and Adaptability (#Agile, #RPA)

In partnership with:

Henry Anson

Managing Director, The Manufacturer

I am passionate about UK manufacturing and its role for the future of the UK, especially in these extraordinary and febrile times, where, coming through Covid, manufacturing has to be the backbone on which a gradual return to economic normality is built.  I have been an MD of the Hennik Group, publishers of The Manufacturer, for 14 years, and am thoroughly immersed in the sector, understand the issues and the manufacturing and support landscape.

Gatherings such as these will enable the sharing of best practice and war stories, enable collaboration and assist in this recovery phase.
