About this session

Water plays a critical part in the manufacturing process and can be used for fabricating, processing, washing, diluting, cooling, or transporting a product. Water is also used by industries producing chemical products, food, and paper products. This session will be discussing issues such as: Why do you want to recycle water? It makes a big difference to your treatment options and costs. Do you have to recycle because you cannot dispose of the volume? Do you wish to recycle to minimise environmental impact? Who is driving the agenda on your water recycling journey? A short example of water recycling in the malting industry will be given as an example of how these questions are relevant.

Discussion leader:

  • Nigel Davies, Director of Technical and Sustainability, Muntons plc
