About this session

Fundamentally, the Circular Economy is an economic system in which the generation of waste is being avoided throughout the value chain. This session will be discussing:
  • How does ‘Design for Circularity’ differ from ‘Design for Manufacture’ or other existing DfX and what implications does this have for the design process?
  • Are there product or process areas which could be ‘easy wins’ and are relatively straightforward to deliver?
  • How can we apply ‘Design for Circularity’ to products where style and design or fashion trends are important, or where technology is rapidly evolving?
